The Southern Academy of Legal Studies in Business (SALSB) hosts an annual conference to promote and encourage scholarship of business law and legal studies. This year, attorney Jason N. Goldman was asked to speak before fellow attorneys and scholars at the 2017 SALSB Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Goldman, who co-authored Playing in the Sandbox: A Lawyers Guide 2nd Ed., discussed the American Bar Association’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct for Attorneys within the context of business law and general counsel relationships. Playing in the Sandbox: A Lawyers Guide 2nd Ed., which is set for release later this year, outlines various ethical situations attorneys will likely encounter throughout their career. Misconduct, confidentiality of information, attorney-client communications and competence were among the topics Goldman discussed at the SALSB 2017 Annual Conference.
