Family awarded $12.8M after DUI crash in Jacksonville; attorneys urge sober driving ahead of July 4
In a First Coast News article, Co-Managing Partner Aaron Davis, alongside Tom Scolaro of Scolaro Law, was recognized for securing a $12.8 million civil verdict on behalf of the family of 21-year-old Nell Behr, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in Jacksonville.
The high-profile case, which also resulted in a 12-year prison sentence for the driver, highlights the life-altering consequences of impaired driving. With July 4th around the corner, Aaron urges the community to plan ahead and use rideshare services to avoid preventable tragedies.
“To send a message to the community that this should never happen again, the way to do that is with a significant verdict,” said Aaron. “I would expect that verdict to be seven or eight figures at a minimum.”
