On April 9, 2019, Mr. Goldman moderated a panel of prominent judicial and law enforcement officials including Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Jack Tuter, Judge Stacy Ross, State Attorney Michael Satz, Executive Chief Public Defender Gordon Weekes, and Broward County Sheriff Lieutenant Edward McCardle, who discussed both the highlights and the challenges within Broward County’s judicial system and the broader legal community.
Leadership Fort Lauderdale is designed to create better communities by identifying, educating and motivating leaders. Founded in 1994, the program is sponsored by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Participants in the program go through training to develop an awareness of business issues and challenges facing the community and the region; discover personal leadership strengths, and find new areas in creating meaningful contributions; network with a diverse, regional group of community and business leaders; and make a commitment to creating better communities.
