Milwaukee attorney secures $2.5 million personal injury settlement

Davis Goldman attorneys Aaron Davis and Michael Bild, along with Milwaukee attorney Mark Thomsen from the firm Gingras, Thomsen & Wachs LLP have successfully secured a $2.5 million settlement for their client Michael F. Finizia, a head chef from Miami, after he was struck by a bus in a hit-and-run accident during the 2021 Ryder Cup.

According to the Wisconsin Law Journal, Michael F. Finizia was struck and run over by a bus while walking through a poorly lit parking lot at a resort where he was staying during the Ryder Cup. This settlement highlights the importance of driver caution, especially in low-visibility areas.
