Aaron Davis’ practice focuses on business litigation, personal injury, product liability, intellectual property, construction litigation, bet-the-company litigation, premises liability, and outside general counsel services. He has successfully litigated numerous high-exposure cases involving motor vehicles, defective premises, negligent security, pharmaceutical drugs, and consumer products around the country.

Additionally, Aaron serves as Outside General Counsel for various companies. He is routinely consulted by small businesses, private equity funds, international real estate developers, restaurant groups, entertainment management companies, financial services providers, national law firms, and consumer product manufacturers seeking to apply his litigation practice expertise.

Representative Matters

  • Serves as General Counsel to Quad Property Group, Ayah Brands, Palm Tree Group d/b/a Palm Tree Management, Renter’s Paradise Realty
  • Negotiated multimillion dollar manufacturing deal between client and worldwide consumer goods manufacturer.
  • Secured dismissal of a high exposure product liability suit against automotive component part manufacturer based upon spoliation of physical evidence.
  • Forced nominal settlement in the defense of a national bank’s proprietary patent technology against a renowned patent troll alleging infringement and misuse of pin code technology.
  • Obtained confidential settlement in a nationwide consumer class action filed against a global appliance and electronics manufacturer.
  • Negotiated $500,000 settlement against a private equity fund and their subcontractor for gross negligence resulting in injuries.
  • Obtained substantial affirmative recovery on behalf of a large national financial institution in an indemnity action arising out of negligent security litigation.
  • Obtained $850,000 settlement on behalf of the client against a professional athlete for breach of employment agreement.
  • Obtained $476,000 settlement on behalf of a real estate investment company for fraudulent inducement, violation of Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), and professional negligence by a commercial real estate and property management group.
  • Obtained $300,000 settlement for breach of an employment agreement and tortious interference by a municipality and resort management entity.

Business Background

Aaron was a Partner at Thornton Davis & Fein (n/k/a Clyde & Co), where he spent seven years defending large corporations and individuals in high stakes personal injury and commercial litigation throughout the country. Prior to that, he worked with Podhurst Orseck, one of Miami’s most formidable complex commercial litigation and personal injury firms.

Prior to his law practice, Aaron worked with the Office of Policy and International Affairs at the United States Copyright in Washington, DC and at Davie, FL-based international generic drug manufacturer, Andrx Corporation (n/k/a Actavis).
